2.2. LEGAL CONSTRUCTION
The economic activity of Instituto Cervantes Netherlands, Belgium,
Luxemburg, England and Wales will be determined by the change
of Instituto
Cervantes Limited England and Wales into Instituto
Cervantes Holding Ltd.
The holding and the business units will work independently from
the European
Cervantes Foundation that will be formed out of the foundation
Stichting
Cervantes Benelux. As the consecuence of the death of the
Princess of Wales on
the 31st of August
1997 the development of the European
Cervantes Foundation has suffered serious delay. Nevertheless
the founder of the foundation Stichting
Cervantes Benelux has appointed Her posthumously with Christmas
1997 as the First President of the European
Cervantes Foundation in accordance with his promisses as described
in the book Letters
to Diana, Princess of Wales.

is legally registered at the Benelux
Trade Registrar
under deposit numbers 0508277 and 843323 in class 41: education,
trainings and courses and is a tradename of the Foundation
Cervantes Benelux

is registered for England and Wales under Company No. 3300636
at Companies
House, Cardiff.
